How to castor oil pack?
1. Fold at least once to make a pack sized for desired application and saturate with castor oil. Oil may be preheated or used with a heating pad or hot water bottle.
2. Position pack over the affected area and cover with a piece of plastic and heating pad if desired.
3. Allow pack to remain for an hour or more. After pack is removed, cleanse skin with solution of baking soda and water (1 tsp to a pint) or use Castor Clean Towelettes.
4. Store in a plastic bag or other container in a cool, dry place.
5. Use pack daily or in a regular cycle (ex. 2-3 consecutive days a week) until results are obtained.

"I have been following the Edgar Cayce remedy for intestinal cleansing for 40 years now - involving twice yearly month-long castor oil pack treatments. The Heritage Store has during those 4 decades, been my source for the wool flannel cloths & castor oil. They unfortunately discontinued a couple of elements of that regimen - Coca Cola syrup & ragweed tincture - but at least they've continued producing the cloths & castor oil. - Hi there! Many people reuse the flannels around 24 times prior to discarding them. They can be stored in a plastic bag or other container in a dry place when not in use. If you wish to wash it you can hand wash it if you wish with soap and warm water if you want it to last longer than 24 uses. Thank you!
