In 1969, we crafted our best-selling Rosewater spray. Made with just two ingredients (roses and water), it’s radically simple and filled with good vibes. Our Rosewater quickly grew a dedicated following of skincare-enthusiasts in love with the soothing, refreshing mist.

We know better than to mess with a good thing, so in the 50 years since its debut, we haven’t changed our Rosewater formula at all. The formula is as clean and pure as it was in ’69. However, we have expanded our Rosewater Collection to include a full line of mists, serums, toners and creams. We want every beautiful face to benefit from the soothing power of roses, so in addition to our original Rosewater we created a Rosewater & Glycerin, Rosewater Vinegar and Rosewater Facial Toner.

Each of our Rosewater products is designed to complement a different skin type. Here’s a breakdown of our Rosewaters and when to use them.

Rosewater  

For: All Skin Types 

Heritage Store Rosewater, the most universal spray in our line of rose waters, is made with Damask Roses and our Vor-Mag™ water. Damask Roses have been used for centuries for their soothing and hydrating properties. Our proprietary hydroessential rose is a unique way to get as much of the rose’s hydrating elements to your skin as possible. Vor-Mag™ water is vortexed and magnetized, raising it to a higher vibration that we believe is more similar to your body’s frequency.  So, while our Rosewater formula is just two ingredients, it’s far from simple.  

Uses: 

• Soothes skin and calms redness. 
• Hydrates and tones for healthier looking skin.  
• Apply to hair, scalp and body for a hydrating mist.  

Ingredients: Purified Water* and Hydroessential Rose (Rosa Damascena).

 

Rosewater & Glycerin

For: Normal/Dry Skin 

Glycerin is a humectant that draws moisture from the air into the outer layer of skin, which is most vulnerable to dryness. By adding this ultra-hydrating ingredient to our Rosewater mist, Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin works to lock in moisture, giving your skin a dewier glow.  

Uses: 

• Tones for healthier looking skin.
• Hydrates skin for dewy glow.    
• Apply after makeup to use as a setting spray. 
• Spray on hair to add shine and vitality. 

Ingredients: Purified Water*, Vegetable Glycerin, and Hydroessential Rose (Rosa Damascena). 

Rosewater & Vinegar

For: Problematic/Oily Skin 

Apple cider vinegar has long been used as a natural skincare ingredient. When vinegar is being made, the fermentation process creates acetic acid, the active compound that makes vinegar effective for skincare. Heritage Store Rosewater Vinegar works to cleanse and help your body balance the skin’s tone. 

Uses: 

• Gently exfoliates and clears away dead skin.  
• Removes impurities.  
• Soothes problematic skin.  
• Brush through hair to remove oil buildup in scalp between washing.  

Ingredients: Purified Water*, Apple Cider Vinegar (with the Mother)* and Hydroessential Rose. *Certified Organic. 

Rosewater Facial Toner

For: Dry skin before skincare/makeup routines 

The Heritage Store Rosewater Facial Toner is made with powerful humectants and hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring molecule in skin that binds water to collagen for a more hydrated, dewier glow. Together, these ingredients complement Rosewater’s ability to soothe and refine skin.  

Uses: 

• Hydrates and tones for healthier looking skin.  
• Reduces appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  
• Apply to clean face before skincare routine to use as a primer.  

Ingredients: Purified Water*, Glycerin (Vegetable), Sodium PCA, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Organic Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis) Leaf Juice, Potassium Sorbate and Hydroessential Rose (Rosa Damascena).
